Barry White - Registered Osteopath

Barry White is a fully registered and qualified osteopath, having graduated from the London School of Osteopathy in 2005. Since then, he has dedicated his career to the treatment and relief of musculoskeletal pain, joint stiffness, and biomechanical issues, helping patients of all ages restore function and improve quality of life.

Before qualifying as an osteopath, Barry had a successful career as an aircraft engineer, a profession he pursued until 2001. His interest in health and movement began long before that; between 1994 and 1999, he studied sports massage, exercise physiology, personal training, and neuromuscular therapy, laying the foundation for his future in osteopathy. His fascination with osteopathy dates back to 1988, following a serious road bike accident that fractured his left clavicle—a personal experience that inspired his lifelong commitment to healing and rehabilitation. Reflecting on his journey, Barry says:
“At one time, being an osteopath was only a dream, but thanks to my wife, we turned it into a reality.”

In addition to his core osteopathic training, Barry has continually expanded his expertise. He has completed Western medical acupuncture, which he integrates into his practice to support patient care. He has also obtained a Certificate in Reiki (Tera-Mai) and incorporated energy therapy techniques to provide a more holistic approach. As part of his post-graduate work, Barry has even developed patient information management software specifically for osteopathy, reflecting his commitment to combining clinical excellence with practical innovation.

Barry’s approach is evidence-informed, patient-focused, and holistic, combining technical skill, clinical experience, and a genuine passion for helping patients move better and live pain-free.

"An osteopath is only a human engineer, who should understand all the laws governing his engine and thereby master disease"
