Barry White Osteopathy

Osteopathy and sports injury treatments for all ages

"An osteopath is only a human engineer, who should understand all the laws governing his engine and thereby master disease."

– Autobiography of A.T. Still

Barry White qualified as a registered Osteopath in 2005 from the London School of Osteopathy. Since qualifying, he has been dedicated to the treatment and relief of musculo-skeletal pain, joint stiffness and bio-mechanical problems.

Prior to qualifying as an Osteopath, Barry studied and worked as an Aircraft Engineer until 2001. It was between 1994 and 1999 that he studied Sports Massage, Exercise Health, Personal Training, Exercise Physiology and Neuromuscular & Physical Therapy.

The profession of Osteopathy interested and him since 1988, this was following a very bad Road Bike accident in which he fractured his left Clavicle. Barry explains that “At one time being an Osteopath was only a dream but thanks to my wife, we turned it into reality”. As part of his post graduate work he has developed patient information management software specific to Osteopathy and completed Western Medical Acupuncture which he has integrated into his practice. He has also obtained certificate in Reiki (Tera-Mai) and Intergrated Energy Therapy.

Barry’s moto – “Find it, Fix it and Leave it alone.”

Great to have Barry up the road when I arrive to Cobh after many hours of travel. Really good to keep on top of issues while travelling and to have confidence in a practitioner that understands the body not just fixing but preventing and getting to root of the problem. Been saviour on a few emergency acute aches over past few years too. Thank you, Sonia.
